New York, New York. Is there an echo, echo?

City: New York City

Weather: Raining hard! 6C

Time keeps filling up with good stuff to see, and we're too behind in blogging to write a full post. So instead, for this one, we're gonna just chuck up a bunch of photos we've taken in New York City, with captions and scant narrative. It's our last full day in this city tomorrow, so we better put SOMETHING up before we skip the country. Okay, enough with the words, on with the show!

Times Square, vying for our spot amongst the tourist photographers to take our tourist photograph

Craig acts like a foo-ell, but is unknowingly about to be upstaged...

...BY THE NAKED COWBOY!!! He gave Crystal a kiss on the cheek, thankfully she failed to return the favour

Junk food of some day or other. Blueberry Cheesecake in Times Square

Waving to keep warm in front of a webcam, attracting the attention of confused passers-by

Dickheads, captured live on camera! View from the Times Square webcam (thanks, Lidy!)

The massive, 3-storey M&Ms store

From the broken fluoro makers of the 'Yale Ho', we bring you the 'Colon Shop'

Superman passed by while we photographed the strange road-chimneys

Radio City Music Hall. And Elliot, from E.T. Pass me my BMX bike!

Police cars look scarier on TV than in real life

So much awesome mosaic tile work in the subway stations! This one's under the Natural History Museum

The most flouted law in New York. We laff and laff at the incessant honking.

Craig in Central Park, on a rock, pensive. Or constipated.

Central Park, leafless and chilly and purty

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, across Central Park

Inside the Met. I kept having Ferris Bueller flashbacks, with a Smiths soundtrack

The Warhols rub shoulders with the Lichtensteins

Crystal, either listening to the audio commentary or thumpin' out to DJ Tiesto, we never can tell

Skyline from Central Park

Spiderman Ninja Squirrel

Foyer of the Empire State Building. With, y'know, me and Crystal in it.

View from the Empire State (Chrysler Building on the left)

Pilgrimage #2 complete: We hit the Museum of Modern Art

Crystal feels the love, which is surprisingly cold on her bum

Loving the MoMA

There we are, reflected in the forehead of this Indiana Jones-like sculpture. THROW ME THE IDOL!

Never Mind the Pollocks

Reflections in a Winnebago (MoMA)

Exhausted, we stop for a cocktail at Grand Central Station

And then have a much-belated birthday dinner for Crystal in Soho. Hoorah!

And PHEW, you made it through THAT slab of photos!

One more day of New York to go, and we just found out that Daylight Savings ends soon, so our early morning train ride on Sunday just got an hour earlier. Crikey!

New York law seems unfairly skewed against geese, much flaunted or not.
